On the 2^nd October 2023, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs in the Revitalised-Transitional Government of National Unity (R-TGONU) formed an Investigation Committee vide Ministerial Order No. 02/2023, to investigate the causes and circumstances of the death of the journalist Christopher Allen (American and British Dual Citizen), who was killed in Kaya on 26^th August 2017.
